lets talk about the matchless shall we.

the matchless motorcycle is a beautiful thing. depending on what you consider beautiful. production began in 1899, and it one of the oldest british motorcycle companys. by 1938 it was owned by amc (associated motor cycles), who also owned at certain points AJS and Sunbeam. anyway they had a pretty bumpy career as far as it goes with motorcycling. but they made some really beautiful bikes. they had a come back in the 80s too i believe, with a Rotax engine. those were awesome too. had dual disc brakes. hauled ass. time for pics!
